We have 2007 Fleetwood Bounder 35E. Now have cracks in our shower surround. Will have to be replaced. Fleetwood went bankrupt in 2009, bought out by another company. We are having our dealership researching for replacement. Our surround was manufactured by duoform plastics. They have nothing. Has anyone else experienced the same cracking issue and if so, did you get a new surround and where or what did you do regarding replacement?

They're still in business ( fleetwood), did you call them for help? Fleetwood like most manufactures don't manufacture the accessories they install into there product. Did you call the manufacture of the shower? I can't imagine you couldn't find a replacement shower if the dimensions work. It might just take some plumbing adjustments.

The first thing I would do is drill 1/16 inch holes just beyond the end of each crack which should stop it from propagating further. Fill the holes with some kind of epoxy eg. Waterweld by JB weld. This is amazing stuff and might help repair the cracks also.
Then I would do a Google search for `tub surround for rv' or some such phrasing and use that info plus responses to this post to decide what to do.
