Showers in Class B motorhomes?

Are there any Bs that have a side wet bath, rather than an aisle shower? I find it very difficult to tell from photos.

In the case of the aisle shower.... how much of a pain is it to use? Can you manage a shower without getting everything around wet? Is the shower curtain area big enough for an XL size person?

Seems to me that if the aisle shower is in use, any other person around has to stay either in the back or the front, no getting through. Is this correct?

I really really dislike hiking to a campground shower, even if it's super nice and sparkling clean. I like the looks of many Bs I've seen. Just not sure if I'll be able to get happy with an aisle shower.

A lot of the Roadtreks have side showers. Look on their website.

The WBO Travatos have showers either across the back or in the back corner.

I could deal with a sit-on-the-toilet shower. Just seems to me the aisle shower would be a major pain.

My wife and I almost always use our wet bath (shower) in our Winnebago Era 70A. I am 5'9", 170 pounds. I use a wood yard stick to move the shower curtain out a little into the aisle so I don't rub up against it when I turn on the overhead exhaust to keep humidity down.

Question..... if you shower in the wet bath in the Roadtrek 210 Popular, is there another drain besides the one in the aisle?

I assume you mean the Roadtrek when you talk about the shower in the aisle. My 210 Popular has this but it's also possible to do a sit down shower in the wet bath. It's a bit cramped but it works. In fact in my Roadtrek I installed a rubber mat in the aisle and never use the stand up shower. But then I'm not living it it full time and most of my trips are for a few days or a few weeks where I can get by with the sit down shower. However, the first thing I want to do when I get home is go take a long stand up shower!

I really like the Roadtrek for its size, handling, gas mileage, drivability and overall comfort. Since I moved up to it from tent camping it was like a large fiberglass tent with cold beer, dry sleeping area with a potty and a place to get cleaned up and make hot meals. Now that I'm retired and looking at doing a bit more time on the road I think I'd like something with a dry bath, nice shower, permanent made up bed and more storage. I realize I'd have to give up some of the other things I like about the Roadtrek to get these though. Oh, a black tank flush and no macerator would be on my must have list too.

The LTV Free Spirit has the side bath/shower. They are not in production at the present time but there are used ones. The Pleasure Way Plateau and some Roadtrek models are also side baths.

I had a Pleasure Way, 2003, Excel, which had a side shower. That was a feature I really liked in it.
