Hi! Have a chance to buy 1990 Ford E-150 Econoline Sportsmobile, with 127,000 miles on the Ford 351 engine. I drove the Sportsmobile it drove excellent, no rust and two fuel tanks. Asking 2,500. Needs a little tweaking inside but every thing seem to work.
Anyone have a Sportsmoblie Good or Bad Buy?
Thanks

At that age expect things that seem ok to not last long. eg... fridge, roof air, water heater. See if those expensive things have been replaced or are original. This rig is over 20 yrs old, not many of those things last that long.

Sounds like a good deal but you might want a mechanic to check the vehicle out. Sportsmobile has a good reputation as a van converter and if everything works it should be OK. We have a 2006 Sportsmobile and have been satisfied with the conversion.
