Steering Wheel Covers

I have a Class A built on a Ford F-53 chassis. Because I have arthritis in my hands my doctor has recommended adding a padded cover to the steering wheel. Problem is the steering wheel is 17 inches in diameter, and I'm having no luck finding one to fit. Has anyone found a 17 inch steering wheel cover?

We found one at a truck stop (Flying J? can't remember) for $16.95, it was about 1 inch too big so we cut it to fit then installed it and wrapped leather lacing around where the cut ends met to hold it in place.

I have a 97 Monoco and had the same problem finding a steering wheel cover to fit the motorhome. Pep Boys carries the rv steering wheel cover for about 6 or 7 dollars. It's a wrap around type but it fits ok. Good luck!

I put a Wheel Skins cover on the Volvo 8 years ago and it has been great, still looks like new.

Check ebay. They show several 17" steering wheel covers.
