Storing the RV

Thinking about a larger RV and just trying to cover all bases. If we were to get, say a B+ or a C, I realize that the fridge has to be level during use, but what about storage? We have the possibility of storing a unit on a friends property, but it isn't level. Would a prolonged sitting of say 6 months be detrimental to the fridge?
Just a wanna bee seeking answers, just in case.

thanks
  • If it is turned on It has to level,if not it would be just fine.

My old Class A sat for 2 years in storage way off level and started up just fine when I sold it and the person that bought it used it for another 10 years without a problem.
  • Being level is just a requirement for a stationary OPERATING fridge.

If rig is in transit and fridge on---not a problem regarding fridge

If rig is in storage and fridge OFF....not an issue
  • Or you can always level it too if you feel better about it.
