Toyo Tire question

I'll be changing out tires in the near future. Just got a price on Toyo's, 6 tires 295-75-22.5 mounted, balanced out the door $2,754.84. Is this a fair price? They said these are Toyo's M22's...........what is the M22 all about? Is that the right tire for my Fleetwood Revoluion diesel pusher? I now have Michelin' 275/80R/22.5.

I had M122's on my last coach and have M144's on my current coach. Over 80,000 miles between both...no issues with either set.

Also have the M154 Toyo's on my DP. I just replaced the two steer tires at $443 each & tax. Great tire and a smooth ride for us.

I got my (6) 22.5 M154 tires from Les Schwab for about $2,400. I'm very happy with them after replacing the Michelin RVX? tires after 7 years and mucho sidewall cracking. The LS manager came from behind the counter, actually shook my hand and thanked me.

I have the Toyo's on my Monaco as well. I have over 12k and they look as good as they did the day they were put on. I cannot remember the M number.

If you are an FMCA member, look at the deals they can get. If you are not a member, this might pay for it.

had Les Schwab put M144 on mine they ride well and have shown no wear or cracks in 3 yearsand 27,000 miles of use. The cost was Baked into the purchase price so I can't tell you. When I spoke with them they (LesSchwab) recomended the 144 a "bus" tire. It has less tread depth than the 154 , not a concern on a Motorhome. Link

But this is generic advice.. Weigh your coach (all 4 corners) or call RVSAFETY.com and follow the links to have it weighed.

Inflate tires to the recommended pressure for the weight they bear. NOTE the load rating on the current tires, and the new purposed tires BEFORE you buy.

IF they can not handle your load.. well. you will have a problem

I have the Toyo M154 and they have worn well and ride great.

I looked on the Toyo website and didn't find the M22 but there is an M122. If they are quoting you an M22 check the date code it may be that the M122 has replaced the M22. There is a difference between the M122 and M154. The M122 is a regional short haul tire which means a softer compound versus the M154 which is a long haul tire with a harder outer rib for more even wear. Both are an all position tire.

I drive a lot of miles so I prefer the M154.

I bought 6 Toyos on 6-28-17 for $3215.24 out the door, they were however, 295/80R-22.5/16 M-144 Highway Tubeless...this was from Les Schwab in central California.

I have Toyo's, M154 I think, and have been happy with them. I was just under $2500 for six of that same size but that was two years ago so price seems in line.
