tripping with ERA 70A

Last March we purchased a new ERA 70A from a dealer in Nokomis FL which was some 400 or 500 miles from home. Returning home we found a small leak in the wet-bath, not bad but enough to get one's feet wet. Dealer 80 miles away kept unit for a couple of days and could find no problem. While the unit was there I had rear inter wheel valve stem extentions installed. Nice but pricey. Dealer also fixed problem with poor chassis radio reception. Antenna wire had been cut when installed.
First long trip to Chicago in July still had slight leak in wet-bath. Seems it leaks only when flush valve is operated and lines are pressurized.
Return trip while on secondary roads in central Illinois had this really odd thing going on for a couple of hours with GPS. Have the Rand McNally in dash unit. The GPS is lagging actual position by about 30 seconds. I would be setting at a red light stopped and it is showing us still moving and not at the intersection yet. I pull away from the intersection and GPS still hasn't shown any movement for another 20 - 30 seconds.
Camping World in Robertsdale fixed leak and checked GPS, called Winnebago about GPS and did update.
Enough for now.

Thanks, Tom. I might have to take it in to have it checked out.

The problem with the A/C unit that you have is not something that I have experienced. The heat strip doesn't do as well as does a heat pump but should handle low 50's OK. No problems with the AC.

Hi, I have the ERA 70A also. I have a question for you. Have you run the A/C and or heat strip? I was in Scottsdale a couple of weeks ago and the temps ranged for low 50s to high 80's. The heat strip on the A/C would blow mildly warm air but not heat the interior much. I traded in an Aspect and the heat strip worked great. And the the second thing is that the A/C if pushed all the way to the edge of the blue(coldest setting) would seem to quit working, too. If I back it off a notch, it seemed to work better. Have you experienced this? I was wondering if I need to have it checked.
