Two adults comfortable in the over cab bed?

Check out the Nexus Phantom 25' C, it has a walk around queen bed. like many have said, it is tough having two full grown adults sleep in the overcab bed. Imagine having to go in the middle of the night and you have to climb over the person and get into position to climb down the ladder, could be disastrous or it gets old real quick.

X2. We had a corner bed in our first TT, I slept next to the wall. After the first trip I slept in a sleeping bag when it got cold out.

that is one thing you must remember. what is your current age/condition, how long do you plan on keeping the RV, and what will your condition be at that time?

If as kids you travelled long distance on a train and envied fellow travellers who could afford a berth to crawl into at night, you will love the big cabover bed. We do. Ours is high enough to be out of sight for anyone visiting so it has more privacy than many lower level bedrooms. You can leave your underwear lying about and no one will see it up there (except your spouse). I must admit it can be hot up there but we are usually cool in Canada. DW comes down in the night every second time I do.

I really appreciate having several feet less rear swing and overhang when driving - and we can park at Macdonald's. Kind of risky, though. If one of you gets a knee, hip or foot problem your upper berth days are over.

that was my test when I was looking at truck campers and Cs, sat on the bed and if my head didn't hit it passed.

Assuming that a couple is comfortable sleeping in a double-sized bed (NOT queen); assuming that the smaller person sleeps right up against the nose of the overhead (cold!); assuming that the smaller person can make it through the night without a potty break; and assuming that it's a TALL overhead - sure, it can be done!

Our Gulf Stream Conquest is tall - I can sit upright in our overhead. It's great for one to sprawl; or two kids. But I can't imagine sharing a bed that narrow with another adult. The outside person would be sleeping precariously close to the edge - and falling out of bed from there, is going to hurt!

We just bought a used Class C, 30 footer with a bedroom slide so the bed is crosswise and it's great. We would not be comfortable in an over the cab bed because we are seniors, I get up a lot during the night and we would not go for climbing into and out of bed, not to mention the small space between bed and ceiling. Our bed is just like a regular bed in all respects. 30 yrs ago the over the cab would have been OK, sort of I guess.

Coachman makes a 21 QB model which has a nice rear bed. I don't know if the approx. 24' LOA is too big for you.
