Ordered four 4" LED lights to replace the incandesent ones on the rear of the MH. This will reduce the current drain and give me a little more light back there. Looking for replacement ones for the Dodge but no luck so far. Just finished replacing the filter going to a dedicated faucet on the kitchen sink. Also did some minor work on the valances of the window above he dinette where I had replaced the folding shades with MCD Duo shades. I have replaced all the folding shades with the MCD Duo shades now. A little work but worth it.

Dropped it off for the removal of the dinette, new flooring, bedroom fan, and new HD TV's...I don't even have that in the S&B. Getting ready for the big trip out west come spring.
There's no place like home; that's why we take ours with us :B

Enjoy your day!

Worked on the fresh water drain valve. I got it off and replaced the blade and gaskets, but it got too dark and cold to continue. Even in Florida it becomse too cold to work under the RV.

Who is getting excited for SPRING??? :):):)

Spring??? It's snowing again here :E. Snow banks are too high now so I have to use the garden tractor mounted snow blower. If it ever gets warm enough, we will be awash in melt water (and we are on a hill :R). Plus it will be a muddy road for a while to the county road.

I broke the belt on my tractor mounted snowblower, finished the job with my truck. 'Course, you're a little further north than I am, I think, the big dumps have been going north and south of us so we only have about 32" on the ground. :B (if you're not counting the drifts from the 30-35 mph north winds and the plowed banks)

Send some of the snow up here!

I would like to get a couple more snowmobiling trips in yet!

Keep the snow up there, I am perfectly enjoying our 75 degree weather here in southern California. LOL

Uncovered the RV and brought it over to the house. Installed the new window quilts that DW made. Ran the genny and the furnace. found mud dauber nests blocking intake and exhaust of the furnace. Had to remove the furnace to get it all cleaned out. I will have to wait until it warms up to re-seal the furnace vent, but we shouldn't see any rain for a couple months.

We got ours out of storage over the weekend and got her all washed up. I almost forgot how much I love driving her.

Actually, nothing today, but on Saturday I plowed the snowbank out from in front of the coach, started the generator, let it run for awhile, started up the main engine, and moved it out in front of the house. Then I shoveled all the snow off the roof, plowed the snowbank back that was behind the coach, cleared the whole parking area, then I drove the coach south about 25 miles to an RV car wash (only one in I don't know how many miles), spent about $14.00 in quarters washing the grime from our Christmas trip off of it and made my to do list for it and my motorcycle to be done before the third week of April.

Today my DW and I ran speaker wire through the basements to a newly installed AM/FM CD player that we put in today as well. We are prepareing to start fulltiming. So we took the rock like speakers from one of our decks at the S&B and wired them into a radio in the basement. Gotta have my tunes :B

We are resting inside today, having dined late with another couple at a nice Indian Restaurant in El Faro, Spain, for Saint Valentines Day yesterday. Nothing to do today since the rain is auto-washing the coach!

Finished the cover-up of the gaping hole from removal of the OEM analog TV, across the front of which opening the mounting for the new, larger LCD TV now is located. We'll haul the new TV on the bed while traveling because the LCD TV's mounting is lower (too much neck strain for the spousal unit to tip back and watch the previous TV),PLUS, when mounted, the new TV impedes driver's view. We covered the gaping hole with an upholstery curtain which also conceals the box I built into that ex-TV spot for additional storage. The finishing touches: we carried the theme over by covering the glass in the adjacent (to the TV area in the front of the RV) cabinets' doors with the same upholstery material...looks mighty good! Naturally, a couple of mirror/glass clips broke so this meant a trip to Home Depot. Finally, we vacuumed up the mess, and are ready for our planned long trip in 10 days.

Spring can't arrive too soon...

Reminded my neighbour that it's perfectly legal to have it in the driveway when we do (May 1 - October 31), regardless of whether she can see down the street or not.
