Finished the computer table mount. Have a little cleanup to do on it and it needs paint. I have a Joto-Desk in my Suburban, really nice (and expensive) so I decided that I would make a mount for it in the camper. No visible holes in the rig, all are covered, take the mount out with three bolts and it as if it was never there. When done, I may try and post a picture or two.

What this does is to allow me to have my laptop secure and in a position where I can see it clearly to use for navigation, Delorme beats a little GPS any day. Now I admit that I'd like a program with overhead clearances and bridge limits, but this one allows virtually unlimited waypoints. I can plan out a whole round trip and in the topt mode even look at grades!

The little GPS will go in the Toad for destination driving around.

Today in 90 + degree heat removed the roadside topper awnings (2) to resew the seams. Did the curb side two 4 months ago when it was still cool outside. Should have done all four then. Cotton thread does not last long in the Fl. sun. Sewing with monofiliment and see if it holds longer.

I bought some draw catches today because I noticed my dog house was not sealing well up front. This is giving me some extra noise from the engine.

My dog house is only secured by a single latch at the rear. Hopefully the two latches will help suck down the cover. I did check and saw that the seals are in good condition.

Sounds like you had some crud gummed up in the carb. You'll most likely still be rebuilding it to get it to run reliably.

Went out and tried to start the Onan Generator (see the post about 4 posts above) and what do you know, it started. It smoked like an old locomotive but it kept running. I let it warm up and it started to smoke less and sounded good. I shut it down and let it sit for about and hour and started it again. This time no smoke and ran like a top. Guess it just needed some exercise. I'm going to let it run for about an hour and then change the oil again. One less problem to work on. Life is good.

applied 2 inch wide eternabond tape to each side of rv on the roof and into the gutters which takes care of any leaks that I probably had. Also the tape will help keep the roof edge from coming out from under the gutter as some people have experienced. Took less than two hours with cleaning. Doesn't look too bad

Worked on the Onan generator that hasn't run in 10 years. I got it running for all of 5 seconds before it quit and wouldn't start again. Oh well, on to the fuel pump on the coach.

Replaced the hot water heater switch. Now the light in the switch will indicate at a glance if it is turned on for heating water.
