I put Bear's crate in it's spot in the MH yesterday, and found a couple of cable that I need to be able to run both the brake buddy and GPS in the one cigarette lighter, as well as the cable needed to play the TV through the dash stereo. Oh, and I cursed heavily at it when the front roof air refused to come on for no apparent reason.

started insulating the generator cabinet more...then found out that my starter solenoid on the generator is probably bad. I just had it running last week.

Also hooked up additional LED lights to dash controller and also when the door opens the lights turn on.

Finally hooked up backlighting on firestone air bag Quad Gauge.

got my sensar iv antenna head today. Going to replace the old head and hopefully get better reception

Also installed an led light on the passenger side that shines down on the floor. I always hate not being able to see things on the floor. It is controlled by a switch on the passenger side and it will also be hooked up to the dome light switch so I can turn it on from the drivers seat.

Replaced the start solenoid bolt that was missing and causing a mystery erratic non-start situation on our last week's trip.

The missing bolt held an ignition wire to the solenoid. The wire's memory provided incidental contact causing the erratic response. Finally I saw the wire spark when someone else tried to start the engine and solved the mystery.

Prior week a missing fuel line clamp bolt caused our enroute engine shut down and tow due to a broken fuel line.

Enough with these critical missing bolts already.

I took my DVD of Avatar out to the motor home to watch because hubby had already claimed the tv/dvd in the house.

Replaced split coolant reservoir, repaired frayed wire to leveling jacks. I also found and installed the lost plug wire holder, and finally got to test drive the coach to verify that the backfiring problem has finally been solved. It has. WOOHOO!!!

Fixed one of the flip down LCD screens in the bottom bunk. It wouldn't turn off when it was flipped up.

For Fathers day, DW bought me two Monroe Gas Magnum shocks for the front of our motor home, I installed them...Whew. The heat index was 103, we are leaving for the Tyler Texas area, Lake Palestine for a week friday WHOOHOO.
If you install shocks, make sure you have a long breaker bar, 1/2 drive and 1 1/8th inch sockets, those are B I G bolts. Unit is in the signature, Ford F53 V10, Monroe shocks part number 557001.
That's what I did today:)

Engine tune up with new distributor cap, rotor, plugs, and wires. Old parts were a mess. Hopefully this fixes my backfiring problem. I also bought a new coolant reserviour as I found mine to be cracked and empty like the windshield washer bottle was.

Well, I guess itโ€™s my turn to chime in on this thread. My friend had the tools, did this before and gave me a big hand in this little project (although as you can see, itโ€™s not finished yet).

Switched or replaced these valves (two out of three valves froze. Luckily in the closed position)โ€ฆ..

โ€ฆ.With the ball type on/off valves. However the handle clearance is now changed, so I gotta figure out how to manipulate it so I can install the front cover.

Btw, just bought a gallon of the 303 stuff, so I applied it to the tires....
