This kinda, sorta applies. I picked up a 50 amp breaker and RV recepticle so I can plug it in at my house and run everything! Should have done it five years ago???

We have A 2010 Newmar Class A Canyon Star Toy Hauler model. Changed the oil and filter in the generator and also in the Ford V10. Both were the first changes since it's a new unit we bought in March.

Installed new propane Regulator on Generator and fired her up. Works great. Installed Plug on Focus for Toad Wiring and started to scrub the carpeting in the coach.

The video I made on hooking up a TV audio output to the dash stereo is now up. You can see it here.

Nice video, just one small correction, on the three way RCA cable, the yellow one is not a component video connector, it's a composite video connector. Sorry about nit picking.

Replaced melted porch light housing, and installed LED bulb in place of the incandescent one to insure that I do not have to repeat this repair.

Changed the oil, oil filter, new oil drain plug washer. Topped off the coolant. Installed new front end air bags. Changed the steering stabilizer. Changed all 4 shocks. Said a bunch of bad words.

I think that is enough for 1 day.
Thanks,
Brian

How will you connect the TV sound to the radio? I hung a PVC tube under the motorhome to stow the sewer hose. Ran the genny to and from the campground. Still need to change the engine and genny oil. I received new reefer hinge bushing in the mail today. Now I need to install them. There are always more things to do than I've done, I guess I'll never run out of activities.

In my case, I have an AUX connection on the face of the dash radio. I used a cable that has the RCA (red and white connectors) on one end, and the "walkman" sized (IIRC 1/8" headphone jack) on the other. I plugged the RCA cables into the audio out jack of the TV, and the headphone jack side into the AUX input to the stereo. If you do not have an AUX jack, but DO have a cassette player, You can still improvise a "redneck" solution. I did this in my old Safari by using the same cable as I used on the current TV, had a female to female headphone jack adapter, and used a cassette adapter like you would use to play a portable CD player through the cassette deck.

For the computer, I had a cord with the male side headphone jacks on both ends, and used a run of the mill extension cord to be able to reach the stereo. My large PC sits in the footwell in front of the passenger seat.

I will make a quick video of how to set this up when I get home from work tonight, and post it on my Youtube channel. I'll post a link when it's up.

I am eletronically challanged. Can you explain what wires I need, and how I would go about hooking it up.
I put a flat pannel TV in, my rear speakes are not controlled by any switch. They my play very low, or play so loud that they about blow you out of the rig. So I would love to play it through the radio.
