Friday I installed a central vacuum...intervac bought on sale from PPL Motorhomes.
Took 2 hours to cut, wire and install into a wasted wall cabinet area and works great. Just one more "essential" item installed... and one less thing to carry...

Not today, but yesterday I ripped the locking gas cap off when I realized I had lost my gas key... and we had just fallen to 1/4 tank and were still too far from home to get back. Luckily the top popped right off and didn't do any other damage. Having that particular gas cap would be worthless if somebody wanted to siphon some gas. Was actually easier to rip it off than it normally was to unlock and remove the cap.

Nothing, I should be working on it but my uncle asked me to look at his. I changed the oil, filter and lubed it, replaced the air filter. He really wanted me to find out what the occasional squeal from the engine was. Unfortunately I found it was the compressor clutch. Pulled the clutch off the front and the guts of the bearing fell on the ground. Removed the clutch, pulley and coil, which was destroyed, and have been searching to the end of the internet for a new clutch assembly, Sanden model 4730 compressor.

I now have our MH and his in our driveway and his can't be moved until the compressor or clutch assembly is replaced.

-Modified std auto windshield wiper arms to fit on the coach so I'm not buying $30 blades anymore.
-Replaced one driving light with a SilverStar and decided that these are significantly brighter than OEM for minimal additional current (100ma)

Please enlighten me. How does one modify the wipers so Auto Blades will fit?

The ones on the MH are screw installation.
And auto wipers are a different mount with the J-hook (typically). The wipers on the Winnie fit into a 'C'-channel that pivots, and the auto wipers needed a little simple Dremel action to fit.

Today I restrung the day/night shade behind the passenger seat. I got the string and directions from "Fix My Blind" and it was fairly easy. I bought the large spool of string as I suspect that I'll have more of these to do in the future.

Well, we decided about month and half ago to stay on at our current
workcamp location here in the beautiful Redwoods of Norhtern Ca.

Started raining last night, so after we got off today we Strung tarps
over our back end and the awning as we get a little waater comming in
from two of the bedroom windows and the awning has some pinholes that
leak enough to be a nuisance. Now tonight it really started coming
down and I really questioning my choice of not going back to Q for the
winter. Oh well theres always next year, Right? LOL.

Everyone travell safe and have a great winter.
