A thought since you just came back from DVNP, do you think washing the undercarriage fo the van would be a good idea? I would suspect there is a fair amount of salt picked up from driving around on the floor of Death Valley?
Just what I needed.
I came in the house feeling good that I got the oil and filter changed in the Van and Gen (whether it needed it or not) and what do I find. One more thing to add to my "Do I Need To Do ?" list.:)
As usual though I did roll around on the old creeper while I was under there and look at everything. Didn't notice any fresh rust.
Haven't seen any sign's of corrosion from last years trip either.
And I do look it over (and under) pretty good after every trip.
Shocks, springs, nuts and bolts, tanks, brake lines, and everything else.
