What Did You Do To Your Class B Today ?

I see the other types of RV's having this type of thread. I did a search and could not find one here. 🙂

Yesterday, I drove mine to work to "excercise" it. I have driven it to work twice in the two weeks I have owned it.

In the two years I owned my Class C, I drove it to work ZERO times. :E

Tutorman remember to let some of the air out when you go to higher elevations. or it will become a really high mattress... 8-)

I took it deer hunting, planning on spending 4 days, but got one opening morning and brought it back on the hitch rack. All was great in it.

We just purchased a air mattress. Regular size fits perfect in the back of the xplorer. we tried the 4" memory foam . I just can't sleep on them. My knees start to scream in pain. But not with the air mattress.

I got mine home and all ready to combat winter and couldn't back into my driveway. It's at the shop now and looks like it needs a transmission rebuild. *sniff* On the bright side, it does have nearly 300 000 km on it.

I'm in New England, and while the season should be over for me, I won't let it 🙂 Still too much to do and many places to go before the heavy snow flies. If its above 20F and the roads are clear, its travel weather!

Today I am going through the RV to investigate the best way to install a couple solar panels, and build an expanded battery compartment for additional capacity.

I'm sad to say I didn't do anything with my rv today other than to brag about it to my friends and hope when I move I can find a place to rent where I can keep it right by me and not put it into storage. So I won't post till spring when I get to unlock it again. I may run out there to return some items to store them there for the winter. But the season is done for me.

We only have the couch/dinette/bed combo and your right, there is really no place to store the foam, but I"m thinking if we cut it in half, it might be easier to store.

Today I replaced the failing camper water pump. The fresh water pump had been making a lot of racket lately but we don't really use the water that much. No shower and all. Anyway I had gotten a nice deal on Ebay on a new Shurflo 4008
Dang if I could not get it to shut off. It just ran an ran. After much tado and frustration I found a document the said I was adjusting it wrong. and I finally got it to shut off, and only pump when called for...
I pulled it out like 4 times, trying to figure it out.. It's all good now.
It should NOT have been that far off ,,,someone messed with this pump. It was New used.

My bed is less than ideal also. I lay down a thick sleeping bag and then put another for cover. Still not great. I'll experiment next spring after I wake the B up. The foam sounds like a good idea.

It was a great trip Eastwacamper, We mostly stayed at State Parks crossing over to eastern WA we stayed at 7 Feathers and it is a great place which I highly recommend. Super friendly, super clean, and it has a free shuttle that will take you to town (Canyonville) or to the store or to the casino. We did our laundry and had a great buffet at the casino. We also spent two nights at a KOA at Klamath Falls but then came up Hwy 97 staying at La Pine State Park and then Deschutes Rec Area on 84. If I lived on the east side of WA I would have taken 395 up as its more scenic than 97.

The bed in my Xplorer is hard also. I added an eggshell foam pad and that helped. Then on top of that I added 4" of memory foam and that really did the job. Very nice now with both foam pads.

Just got home from our shake down cruise. We drove down Oregon coast, across to Klamath Falls and up 97. It mostly rained, and that wasn't fun, but it was never cold. Heater worked when it wanted to, bed was uncomfortable as hell (any suggestions) and DVD liked some disc' and didn't work on others but other than those minor problems, we have a good time.

Changed seven spark plugs. There was one I could not get out. Afraid I would break it if forced. Would only make half a turn.
