What Did You Do To Your Class B Today ?

I see the other types of RV's having this type of thread. I did a search and could not find one here. 🙂

Yesterday, I drove mine to work to "excercise" it. I have driven it to work twice in the two weeks I have owned it.

In the two years I owned my Class C, I drove it to work ZERO times. :E

Last Friday, my underhood battery was drained. I trickle charged it until Sunday and it started right up. :C

I've finished all my winterizing this morning. Was procrastinating a bit. Woke up this morning to freezing temperatures and a light dusting of snow on the ground. A good sneeze would blow it away. 🙂 I finished it off as I only had a couple minor things to do ... remove some food items and make sure that I have all my winter bed clothes there and filled up the propane for furnace and checked to make sure the electric ceramic heater was working.

All is good as I am heading out this afternoon for a short trip. I use my ERA all year. A little snow and cold weather doesn't stop a true Canadian. LOL 🙂

Spoken like a true Canadian and, i must add, a Viking, like me(remember I mentioned that):descended from 8th Century Viking settlement in Normandy. I see from the blog that many like us are winterizing but travelling too in winter. Pretty warm here on Vancouver Island and can actually camp comfortably with bottled water and using local indoor facilities for shower.
Today, I moved all freezable goods to house pantry, serviced batteries and put solar trickle chargers on house and engine battery.

Greetings

Just got home yesterday from a 3-week road trip so I'm still moving back into the house. Yesterday, I used Happy Camper before dumping the tanks.

Then I cleaned the bathroom and the kitchen at the dump station before getting home. Now I'm glad I did. That means this weekend, all we have to do is vacuum inside and wash the exterior.

Can't wait for the next trip!

Finished winterizing our RoadTrek, check and added air to the tires, insulated the RT windows, 3 windows, AC, Fantistic Fan, Fan in bathroom, and did couple Modifications.
Put our Porta Potti in the RT for winter use if necessary.

Winterized the Roadtrek, reluctantly, since we are hoping to take a weekend trip soon. However, we are supposed to have 2 nights in a row with a low around 26 degrees, which (from what I read here) is on the cusp of needing to winterize, and I didn't want to take any chances. Will probably still take that trip and just make do.

We winterized in Utah a month ago and 2000 miles from home, and just finished a trip to KY`that took 10 days. BTW we live in Northern MN. We are done for the season now, but if you can keep warm, winter travel without water and sewage can be done. Enjoy your trip.

Out 2010 Pleasureway Excel "The Keys Traveler" is plugged in next to our home here in Fort Myers Beach. She is loaded and ready for our next adventure...we just recently returned form Fantasy Fest in Key West. If you haven't done that one....put it on your bucket list, you won't regret it. I went over our checklist to make sure all systems are ready and she never lets us down. Just goes to show that staying up with the maintenance really pays off. Class "B" motorhomes...."B" safe, "B" Happy and go RVing.

Winterized the PW and parked it in it's resting place until we head South--watching weather and trying to forward plan. Oh well, RV is ready and de-winterizing down South is all I need to do after arrival.

Washed it yesterday and finished most of the packing. Ran the generator. Put injector cleaner in the gas tanks. Put my Dish receiver in and checked the antenna (all is good). I still must check to see if my CO2 and my Gas detector have 9volt batteries. I think not as they are both 12 volt and hardwired. I know those Florida fish will tremble when I get there. ROFL

Spent yesterday making a foam wedge to place on top of our sofa. It sits a bit lower then the side seat cushions. Topped it off with a memory foam. Spent today puttering, hanging paper towel holder, hooks, more hooks, organizing and throwing out stuff I haven't used in 3 1/2 yrs, restocking etc.... getting it ready for our January trip to the Southwest. Don't want to be doing that in Jan.....burrrrrrrrrr.

Drove mine through speeding traffic on the Capitol beltway this afternoon. What an experience! Not one I wish to repeat any time soon. My hands are still cramped from clutching the steering wheel!

Dave ... I LOVE the Stanley Barn. I wish had the room to have something like that. I'm afraid my poor ERA has to brave the cold winter "au naturel". 😞

AJRV, love that BG music. I cranked and moved ours around and ran the generator and checked the lights. Planning a trip to FL next month if all goes as planned.
