This is always a fun thread to watch in other forums, so I thought I'd start one here.

I replaced both front headlights as the stock ones were all fogged over from the inside so I got some of the clear euro type lights. I now need to aim them correctly.

Aimed the headlights (relatively new rig, they were WAY in the trees)

Yesterday, I spray painted black the two rubber inserts that go on each end of the rear bumper. The previous owners tried to brush paint them white to match the bumper but did not turn out too well. ๐Ÿ™‚

Lets see, over the last couple of weeks I have changed the Engine oil, tranny oil and Generator oil. Removed the old crappy TV to be replaced with an LCD TV some time in the future but not too soon. Added one of those awning straps (cannot remember the name) to keep it from unrolling while going down the road. This weekend I will finish the roof maintenance that I started last weekend. I'm removing a lot of the old caulking and going to put Eternabond down in place of most of it. I also got two new shurflo vents to install, a silver for the bathroom and the platium for the bedroom. The current bathroom vent has a small fan on it with one speed (HIGH) and it is very loud, plus does not do much. The bedroom vent has no fan so I thought it would be nice to have one we can open and close while in bed plus turn the fan on or off. I also have 2 new vent cover to put above the front vent and bathroom vent. Then the next weekend I'm getting 2 new front tires, having Tireman extended valves put on all the tires, changining all my brake pads, master cylinder (small leak) and flushing all the old brake fluid out. I'm also going to add two 80mm computer fans to the rear of the refig and a small fan to the inside. Service the air and last but not least adding a LinkPro battery monitor. After all that I cannot think of anything else to do to it this year other than use it alot. I'm sure I will then come up with a list of things I want to do next year.

Checking the onboard batteries because of a voltage issue, found they were borderline.
Replaced both with Interstate Deep Cycle.

Put the front bar on. So, net change is from stock front/rear bar to Hellwig front/rear anti-sway. The Hellwigs are MUCH thicker and heavier than stock.

Took it on a 5 mile loop test drive. Cornering and body roll on bumps was pretty good before; now it is excellent. Absolutely flat. Jerk the steering, hard, and it just changes lanes, no roll. Potholes are a breeze. Speaking of breeze, it was very windy today. Still some tracking issues and getting blown around, but all flat... no roll.

I crawled under the rig and replaced the aging sewer/gray water tank plumbing - never gave it a thought until the old ABS started to fall apart. Not hard to do but I sure was glad I soaked in the hot tub before I crawled under the rig.

Well yesterday I took off the Exhaust brake to inspect it and hopefully fix it. When I bought the rig 2 years ago the owner told me that he disabled it as it does not work. I found the butterfly valve was stuck and trying to get that working and then go on the list to make sure everything is working. Well it's been soaking all night/morning and hope to get to it this afternoon.

Take care everyone, RObert.

Haven't driven it yet, there's a front bar and 4 Bilstein shocks to install in the next couple of days. I'll report back on first drive after that.

This is a 2008 chassis E450 and was really pretty good before the upgrades. Not perfect, but pretty good. So, we'll see...
