Hope you are getting to use your Jamboree. We went to the coast for a few days in December. Right now we are checking everything and getting ready for our first dry camping trip in this motorhome. We go to New Melones Lake above Sonora with 2 other couples and love it. I live south of Fresno and am well aquainted with the summer heat.

Hi Snowdance
We always put the vent covers on so we can have fresh air and also to keep the windows from sweating. They are great. We have only had this motorhome since last November and trying to get ready to go on some trips. 2011 Winnegabo View 24J.

A bit shorter season in the mountains from the sounds of it. Here in the lowlands some winters it may just touch freezing, such as in an El-Nino year. Not this year, de-winterized and re-winterized twice for trips.

We also dewinterized yesterday. Ran every thing. It all went well.
We flushed the anti freeze out of the water lines ect. But in our part of the world freezing temps and snow are common until June. So We blow the water lines out and add antifreeze to the sink drains so we can use it early in the year. We also have the same problems in the fall and do it the same but when winter is comming we use the antifreeze.
