We were looking at some Winnebago Class "C" units, the F-350 and I think a couple had F-450's.....What is the Cu In and roughly what would the gas mileage be? I had the impression they were all gas, not diesel.

You'll see a lot of folks getting around 9mpg which is our average. Some worse, because they tow and/or run at or over the posted speedlimits, others because they are in no hurry so they get in the way of those that are... B^)

E-450, V10, 31 ft - avg 11 mpg - if you keep it at a constant 55.
Got 12 mpg twice.

Are you sure these are "F" series units and not "E"? The Ford E-series was the base for most Class C RVs until the Sprinter chassis appeared. As someone who owned an E-450 based Class C with the V-10 engine I can say that the fuel economy is ~9 mpg if you keep speed to less than 65 mph. At higher speeds we were lucky to get 8 mpg.
