Cast iron cook stove conversion?

I am in the possession of cast iron 2 burner gas cook stove, I believe was a laundry stove to heat water.
I would like to convert it to propane, so I can carry it with me while on the road.
With your assistance I know it can be done.
What I need to know is what items do I need to make this conversion?
Thank you for your help.
  • I have a 3 burner cast iron stove that runs on propane. Can we see a picture of the stove you have?

Will try to post one in the next few days.
  • We do not have natural gas in our area of the country, but I wanted a gas stove to cook on at home. We had to purchase an adapter and install it to allow propane. I think it cost us about $75.00 at Lowe's.
  • First off....

You will need a LP Regulator
You will need to change out 'gas orifices' at burner controls to proper size 'propane orifices' (need to know burner/control btu flow)

Take it to an appliance repair shop..they can measure current orifice size and should have replacement orifices.
