The PK grill in action. - robsouthExplorer IIThat PK Grill is the last one you will ever need to buy. I've had mine since the 1970's and it is still my grill of choice.

For a bullet-proof, portable, charcoal smoker and grill: PK Grill/smoker
It will last a lifetime and you can achieve excellent temperature control using the vents.
That thing is pretty ugly - looks like a buffet pan on a cart. But if it does the trick, then that's the most important thing...
My question is where would I put such a monster? If it came with folding legs maybe...
The actual grill/smoker lifts off the stand. I load it with charcoal and put it in the shower when we travel. I don't think it's ugly-I think it looks like an Airstream! - RP_S_RV_SExplorerI just bought this grill a couple months ago and it is great. I do not even use my gas grill since I have gotten this. I also have one of the bigger grill the party pro and I love it. If you buy it you will not be disappointed.
- GrumpyGatorExplorerLet us know how this works out for you.
I recently ordered a Traeger portable grill. Traeger is a pellet fired grill and while it doesn't have a rotisserie, it can be a grill, an oven, or a smoker.
Mine came with a free carrying case and the price was about the same as what you're looking at. - MocoondoExplorer IISmokey Joe for me as well.
We have an infared natural gas grill at home which is very convenient, but when on the road, nothing beats a good steak on the Smokey Joe. We carry our charcoal in a small Rubbermaid tub. The Smokey Joe is also the perfect size for a large cast iron skillet and we almost always fry up a great breakfast on the grill in the morning as well.
We also have a small Magma kettle grill like this one that we use from time to time. It actually belongs on our boat, but I do bring it along camping from time to time too. I have a mount for it that grips right to the side of the picnic table and hangs out over the side.
- AJRExplorerI like my Smokey Joe. I have had it for many years.

What I couldn't find on website was how it actually worked.
Saw videos of him doing the two whole chickens on rotisserie (looked yummmmmy!)
with the grill crate vertical but nothing about HOW it works (the vertical or horizontal position)
Looks well made.......just curious on the 'HOW'
If I'm reading between the lines correctly, it seems that you load charcoal briquettes in the "crate" and it can be positioned vertically for indirect rotisserie cooking or horizontally below an included, but not pictured, grill grate. - Old-BiscuitExplorer IIIWhat I couldn't find on website was how it actually worked.
