East Coast DOG October 17 – 19, 2014
The East Coast DOG and Cook Off committee invites you to join us in the first ever Annual East Coast Dutch Oven Gathering and Cook Off in the Village of Bird-in-Hand, Lancaster County, PA. Our host this year is the Bird-in-Hand Corporation who have graciously provided their Bird-in-Hand event field. The goal of this event is to have fun, demonstrate Dutch oven cooking skills, and introduce the public to the joys of Dutch oven cooking.
In addition to the Dutch Oven Gathering there will be two cook offs. One will be a 3-pot International Dutch Oven Society (IDOS) sanctioned event. The other will be a 1-pot Boy Scout Challenge.
We will also have some Dutch Oven classes and demos, raffles, and ‘Ol Splatterdab will have the chuck wagon setup. If he’s in a good mood he might treat you to some sourdough biscuits.
