Granola made in crockpot
Spray a crockpot. In large bowl mix
5 cups old fashioned oatmeal
1/2 cup honey
1/4 cup cooking oil
1 tsp. Cinnamon
2 tsp. Vanilla
1/8 tsp salt
1 cup unsweetened coconut (can be added about halfway)
Cook on low at least 5 hours & stir occasionally. Lid must be tilted or it will be a limp soggy mess. I prop it open with a folded towel. Add nuts, dried fruit, flax, chia when done, if desired. I cook about 6 hours because I like it darker.
