You both have great loses for the first week. If you don't like the Points Plus system just follow the old system of points. I know many old recipes don't have the complete nutrition information you need for points plus.
You can figure nutrition the old fashion way from the label on the box/can of food item you use. Add em up and divide by the servings. You also can buy a paper back book that will give you the nutrition. The Calorie King is a good one. 300 pages of info. including info on fast food chains and restaurants
