You folks have solved all my Computer problems now I am going to install a new alarm for the remote lock and unlock feature, but as long as I am installing a new two way system, I thought that I would use all the features available.
My problem is I don't know what the designation are on the connectors. There ARE two connectors on the module, W1 has PL, B+, GND. SIR, PL, SIR, IG, VAL, V-IG, 12V, GND, VAL, V-, PS, L, L-. Connector W2 has two wire D/UL and D/L.
Some are obvious, but I don't know what some of them mean but I'm not sure if IG is a ground to the ignition for anti theft or if it's supposed to be hot when the ignition is on. Does anyone have an OEM schematic with where these wire go and what their functions are?
I'd like to use the wires from the OEM cable if possible for the new system.
