I've been using XP3 for many years and would prefer to keep it. However, I've been looking at new laptops recently in anticipation of XP's demise. Since there are so many XP users worldwide I wonder if Microsoft will relent and keep supporting it for a while longer. Not likely, I guess....
Seems to me from all the reports quoted in this thread, if you like your XP, at a minimum, you should comfortably hang on for another year and look to upgrade to W9, which will be much more like your legacy XP.
Even then, you may cautiously keep it even longer, as has been pointed out here as well.
That would be nice but without support from MS wouldn't my computer be more and more susceptible to malware as time goes by?
