Anyone use LogMeIn or other remote access programs?

I've been using LogMeIn free for quite a few years to have remote access to my work, home, and even my 84yr.old Dad's computer (ya I need to get on there and fix things pretty often :) )
Looks like their free version is going away :( & I don't need it bad enough to have to pay for it.
Just wondering if anyone has any other suggestions?

    Check out TeamViewer. That seems to be where most LogMeIn refugees are headed.

    Remote desktop is now built in to the Chrome browser for free. Even access from your android tablet.

    I still use LogMeIn as they decided not to boot off users that paid for the Ignition and Android apps. At least not yet.

    Whatever remote desktop(RDP) app you use, make sure to keep it updated! Hackers often use unpatched RDP to exploit vulnerabilities that could allow access into one's system.

    I didn't see any free option on their site. Did I miss it? The free TeamViewer has worked well for me in helping multiple people, but I'm always open to something better coming along.

    Click the green ShowMyPC button. You will be prompted to download the ShowMyPc software.
