Has there been any problems with the most recent update from Apple in their IOS 8.0.2 update??

I have an IPad and have been waiting to download...

I would make sure that iOS 7 is backed up twice 1 on Itunes and once on your computer.
It seems to be one of those typical things where if it works for you great. If it doesn't your in some kind of trouble especially if wifi doesn't work.
Myself I was going to update, but after thinking about it for a while, what is there that I need? Nothing so I will wait.
And people said Microsoft was bad.

Enough people jump on any upgrade so that waiting overnight to see if there are issues is plenty of time. If there's an issue (like with 8.01), screaming starts within an hour after the release hits......

I too, have seen much better battery life on my 5s with V8.02. Hopefully, it's not just a fluke......

I noticed the same. My phone hasn't been plugged in since 10am, I just got off work and it's now 12:31am the next day. With light use im at 67% battery life. Normally I would be down around 20%.

8.0.2 is still a little buggy for my iPad mini.
It's a helluva lot better than 8.0 though.

I purposely wait a couple week weeks until there is an update or two. I just upgraded today on all my devices and everything seems to be great.

X2 on that. I don't understand the rush to upgrade to a new OS. experience has taught me that there are always bugs that need to be worked out. God bless those of you who like to 'break trail' but count me as one guy who doesn't mind being behind the curve a bit.

Our iPad and iPhones are running great so far. The battery life really improved on my iPhone.

I have 8.02 running on two IPhone 5s's and two IPad Mini's and both are working fine. There are some nice new features. The only glitch I am experiencing is on the IPads in that locations services is not working with my home wifi, but does with the one at my golf course. It is not a big deal and everything else is working well. The Apple web site shows many people have various issues but not me thus far.

I did have the battery drain issue but after a hard reset, the problem went away (prior to installing 8.02. I'm a happy user at the moment.

Just wait one week. If there are problems with a software release, you'll find plenty of complaints on the Internet. Keep waiting until there seems to be a release that isn't showing problems.

Also, if you backup your iPad on iTunes, if you get into a problem with the newer software version, you can restore the one that works from iTunes and wait for better prospects.
