Thanks Ed - I'm pretty sure I can find my ASUS box haha... Was hoping to hear it isn't a big thing to setup the two high SPEED ports the 66 model has on the top panel... All of the other settings went without a hitch...
I will have to find a longer USB cables however. Will have to be around 12-15 feet long...
I was wandering about the U verses the R models... I got mine from AMAZON a few months back and thought I was ordering the U model but the R model came instead.. They look the same. I have all the secure password etc setup everywhere for the first time... We live kinda off to ourself so never really bothered with that before... With the newer router I can see a couple of secured routers sitting out there from the neighbors that I never saw before with my old router. So probably a good thing to have the controlled access these days...
I have my 66R hanging on two wall screws almost to the the top of the window. I run all of my cables up a corner PVC section to hide all the cables... Looks pretty neat... I do wish however the connections were not on the same panel the Antennas are on however. Make one want to look for right angle connections adapters haha..
