What have you done to minimize the glare on your backup camera? We just purchased a new 30E Winnebago. Thanks

Save the empty box next time you finish some crackers. The light cardboard is easy to work into a shade for the screen. Stick it on with painters tape or blue tack.

If you like the function, use it as a template for some plastic or aluminum sheet... Or keep the cardboard. Paint it matte black with a rattle can and call it done.

Assuming you are getting glare on the monitor inside the RV the only real solution is a hood of some kind. Many manufacturers produce these but if not you will need to fabricate something to keep the sun off the screen.
What I post is my 2 cents and nothing more. Please don't read anything into my post that's not there. If you disagree, that's OK.

Tried this and didn't work for us. We have glare all the time, starts at the back of the dinghy, JK Wrangler, and further back. I'm think it needs a shield above the camera. Mirror cams work much better.

When do have glare problems? The only time I had that kind of an issue was when traveling early or late and the sun was low and behind us.

We have very poor use of our backup camera being used at night...

They need to be mounted as high as you can get them and then pointed down at a good angle...
