- SidecarFlipExplorer IIII've given up on spinning platters, I run a chipset hard drive now. No need to defrag ever either and it runs cool and quiet.
- GordonThreeExplorerYes, you can connect the drive inside the enclosure to your computer, it will be a standard SATA drive.
Yes, you can put a regular SATA drive into the enclosure, the electronics don't care about the drive itself, they just convert USB to SATA
