Can't bookmark sites anymore ?

How are you bookmarking sites? Have you tried to drag-n-drop to see if working?

I have problems with Firefox not making bookmarks. What I do is I always use Ctrl D to bookmark. But I have to do it twice. The first time I press Ctrl D the screen just kind of blinks. I just press Ctrl D again and then I am presented with the choice to save the bookmark. Thinking about this as I type, I wonder if there is a default bookmark location in the settings that is set incorrectly. But I don't bookmark often enough to go looking for it.

Are you sure it didn't just default save to a group that you're not looking in?
