Cell Phone (cleaning house)

I have a 1 year old smart phone (LG Viper) connected to the Sprint system. The phone is loaded with both Google and Sprint Apps that I never installed nor do I want them. Occasionally even a new one automatically is installed. I tried to delete them but either (1) the app cannot be deleted or (2) I get a warning that removing the App will make the phone unstable or not work.... I find this hard to believe for music, news and video apps.. Is this normal and I am stuck with them, or can they be removed somehow? The local Sprint store knows little and suspects less on this subject when asked..
  • What version of Android are you running? Yes, some apps cannot be removed, but you can unload them and block automatic updates. If you don't know or understand how, go to a sprint store and ask them and or search Youtube for instructions.

This is good advice. In fact, between YouTube & Google there isn't much need for this forum as it exists.
Think about it. If you ask 'how to' something or other, Google or YouTube will probably get you the answer fairly quick.
If you ask the same 'how to' on this forum - you'll get a certain percentage that are flat wrong, another bunch that only apply on Tuesdays and so on.. And then the correct answers may not show up at all until the guy with the answer logs on and decides to share his/her knowledge.

    Good luck
