Computer Locks Up

I will say this.. I now use my Windows box for stuff that only runs on Windows. hardly ever on line.
most of my On line life (Which is most of the computer use) I've gone to Chrome Books. HP's true. but at about 250 a pop with touch screen option included (i can turn both pad and screen on and off. I turn pad off screen on. note this is not something you can do out of the box) both of 'em have been hit by malware and took less than 5 minutes to fix.. I can press the ON button on my Toshiba Win-10. and cut the tape sealing the box on a new chrome book and be on line and browsing before the Tosh asks for my Password.. yup. they are fast.
