Cortana Users, Do You..............

I have only "played" with Cortana since I can't find anything useful that it does. Even when I want to use it, it usually takes about 6 tries of phrasing the same thing differently until I finally get usable results. Instead of making things easier, Cortana makes things more difficult.

Maybe at some point in the future, this kind of software will have evolved into something useful but, for the time being at least, software like Cortana, Siri and Google Now are mere play things without being truly useful.

Nah, no smart phone, just a flip phone that cost me about $12 to use last year. Nobody has my number. :)

No, but then I disabled her to the best of my ability and am offended when she pops up and insists on trying to assist me.. She is not my favorite search engine and there is nothing she can do for me other than get in the way.

BTW, I mistakingly called Cortana Sirri one time and I recall she was a little flustered by that.

I wouldn't say it's weird. It's just a natural response when someone provides assistance, even if that "someone" isn't real. I know it's silly, but "thank you" just comes out automatically. :)
