Good catch! $40 one time fee for all receivers on the account. Pretty reasonable compared to all the other satellite DVR options. There are NO recurring monthly fees.

Maybe. You would need a video out connection from the receiver to the DVR input and then an output from the DVR to the TV.
It's certainly possible but as mentioned above it's easier to add a hard drive to a Dish receiver.

Yes -- as long as you have a DISH receiver attached to the sat dish. However, you can't record directly from the sat dish.
