- Bill_SatelliteExplorer IIGood catch! $40 one time fee for all receivers on the account. Pretty reasonable compared to all the other satellite DVR options. There are NO recurring monthly fees.

If you have one of the single-tuner receivers, the better way to do it is to connect a hard drive (one-time $10 activation fee) that turns your RV Dish Network receiver into a DVR. That way you can schedule programs to record using the program guide.

Can I record TV from Dish Satellite with my Magnavox DVR?
Maybe. You would need a video out connection from the receiver to the DVR input and then an output from the DVR to the TV.
It's certainly possible but as mentioned above it's easier to add a hard drive to a Dish receiver. - Second_ChanceExplorer IIIf you have one of the single-tuner receivers, the better way to do it is to connect a hard drive (one-time $10 activation fee) that turns your RV Dish Network receiver into a DVR. Rob - TechWriterExplorerYes -- as long as you have a DISH receiver attached to the sat dish. However, you can't record directly from the sat dish.
