Do not buy the bed linen at CW! RANT

I've made my last Camper's World purchase....FOREVER!

We purchased a set of 'short Queen' sheets last week from the CW in South Tucson AZ. After one wash, the material started unraveling at the seams and the material was puckered everywhere...looked like someone had shot it with a shotgun! The linen was washed with other items of clothing...non were damaged like the bedding!

We returned the bedding to the store....all we wanted was a refund....for the obviously poor quality material...they would not accept the return and they would not allow us a refund or credit...."That's state policy" was the only response we received!

So, I'll go back to Amazon....usually lower prices on identical items and often free shipping in a day or two!

Camping World / Good Sam....you just lost a loyal customer!

A professional conversation, or phone call to the store manager would have netted you the same satisfactory conclusion. By doing that, you might have gotten your CC credited back, instead of a store credit. As long as you feel better though. What good is a credit at CW if you will NEVER do business with them again? :S

See folks... sometimes the help team does help, even though most people don't reply back with the resolution to their problem.

Thanks CW for taking care of it and thanks to the OP for reporting back.

Oh my! I have read some pretty remarkable comments on these forums over the years, but by far, this one hits the nail right on the head!

This. And the answer is "None".
There's no reason not to accept bed sheets back. It's not a health concern because they aren't going to re-sell them. They are going to get a credit back from the vendor like all other big retailers do and that's as easy as a few mouse clicks. I used to do it all the time.

Apparently, it does pay to rant....I received a call from the store. They have issued an 'in store' credit(card)

So what good does the credit do you?
