Both Dish and DirecTV offer plans you can use in both locations. Just make sure you register the account as an RV account. NOt sure exactly how DISH is doign it now days, keep hearing confilcting rumores but with Direc an RV account can subscribe to "Distant Network Service" so you get Network stations out of NYC area or LA or both.. Dish used to offer that and rumor is they are again but you can change your service location with teh DISH APP on your smart phone so you get local, locals, no matter where you are local at the moment.
Affordable: NOT by my standards
What do I watch: Over the air, I have two Serious OTA DVR's and pay 25 a year for an Electronic program guide service,, They work just like all the expensive service DVR's all the "Only our expensive subscription service" features. for 25/year and even that is optional if I wanted to use VCR mode
(TV Guide costs more than the EPG however).
I have a 3rd DVR for overflow.
I have problems finding time to watch it all.
