Time Required: Deleting your Windows XP logon password usually takes less than a few minutes
Here's How:
Click on Start and then Control Panel.
Click on the User Accounts link.
Note: If you're viewing the Classic View of Control Panel, double-click on the User Accounts icon.
In the pick an account to change area of the User Accounts window, click on your Windows XP user name.
Choose the Remove my password link.
In the text box on the next screen, enter your current password.
Click the Remove Password button to confirm that you'd like to remove your account password.
You can now close the User Accounts window and the Control Panel window.
Now that your Windows XP account password has been deleted, you will no longer need to log on to Windows XP when your computer starts. Windows will now load all the way to your desktop automatically.
I tried your suggestion. But there's no link for removing
the PW. There is only a link for changing the PW.Oh well, I can live with it.
