You do know you have just confessed to a crime (Tax cheat) right.

NOTE: I will be taking no further action on this since I am not a police officer and not from your state, but you should be careful about making statements like that.

I believe that Jensen is way over priced. You might want to look at Costco. Probably a third of the price plus a full two year warranty. It is hard to beat that.

Our surge protector won't allow voltages below 102 or above 132 (I think) the lower limit is to protect equipment sensitive to low voltage like AC compressors. I think residential fridges would also fall into that category. Our rez fridge runs from the inverter as default so wouldn't care. TVs mostly don't mind pretty low voltages (according to what I've learned on this and other forums). If you use a surge protector, it is a moot point. My postings are always "clear as mud."

What is damaging to motors aka air conditioning , fans etc...
Does not have the same effect on switching power supplies
And since the supply is rated at 100v~250v
The voltage was only 4v lower than supply rating

Still I prefer to run my electronics from my inverters, and never have too worry about voltages low or high

Our power management system wouldn't permit us to connect to voltage that low. You were risking lots of other things in your RV by connecting to it.
I can explain it to you.

Hi, I don't know why, but the Vizio E series seems to use low watts. I can run my dtv HD and 39" vizio just under 7 amps. It seems to take alot less power than a Samsung even though I like them.I don't know why anyone would want to by any television or Jensen tv from camping world. To many other places to buy cheaper and better quality. Just my 2 cents, nothing more...

Go to one of the good electronics big box stores and look at the display tv's. Step off to the side and make sure you can still have a good picture and not turning negative (black). Find the one hyou like best and you should be good. The only thing I have heard is you don't want a plasma in the RV. Good Luck on your shopping and Happy Camping

The Jensen and Polaroid and Skyworth are junk sets made in China and bottom tier units. They just put their brand on electronics made by others. Better to get a 110AC top tier LED LCD and use a small inverter. We went through a Polaroid, Jensen, and Skyworth in the course of 3 years. We have 4 years on a Toshiba TV that continues to work perfectly.

has anyone found a mount that will over the door (ceiling or wall) that allows a TV to be pulled down facing the couch/dinette?

Jensen is considered very low-end merchandise. Vizio, LG, Samsung, etc, will have what you want.

And rightfully so as heat damage starts occuring on appliances. If voltage gets below 104 I would shut it down. Thamnkfully my PI does it for me.

I bought my 42" Vizio because of the power supply, it can plug into 100-240v and work, according to Vizio, I haven't verified this. In one campground we were in, during a hot summer evening, the voltage got pretty low, like 96v, my TV still worked fine. (this was in '08, TV still works fine in the Sticks & Bricks house.)

The only thing special about it is probably the price. It is too high.

Go to Amazon or Walmart. Vizio, Samsung or Panasonic.

Plus, look at what features you want.

I purchase many items from B&H to avoid the 7% NJ sales tax from Amazon, Walmart etc .

As others have said, look for a TV with a 12v to 14v wall wart. You can find them in some 22"-26" TVs.
