Folks with AT&T Data Plans

I just reviewed an ATT promotion that started today.
I was able to increase my wireless data significantly through my ATT account.

It may be worth your time to review your data plan and evaluate whether it is cost effective to take advantage of this one month promotion.

This is not meant to be an AD, but other full-timers may find the additional data plans available beneficial.

Mods, if it's not appropriate, please remove.

As a full-timer, this promotion is a great value to me, and may be to others.

    This is correct, DW just upped our plan to this. I figure we can upgrade when we want and pay it ourselves and save a lot. Don't need the latest gadget.

    Mrwizard, Hard to believe they let you do that. Do you use the hotspot feature to share data? I used to do that with AT&T until I got "the letter." They advised that they had detected that I was sharing the unlimited data with other devices and that this was not allowed. They also advised that if I did not stop tethering they would automatically move me over to a tethering plan. I changed.....

    exactly..i'm on month to month
    IF i accept one of Verizons upgrade offers, i would lose my unlimited data

    so..my next phone will have to be a personal purchase, no more upgrades for me

    Also read the fine print. Upgrading phones in the future can affect the plan. I went blind reading the fine print. However, it is clear as to the parameters. As long as one does not forget in the future.

    What a deal. I was watching the football game last night and saw the ad. I'm currently signed up for the 15G deal. I immediately accessed my account on line and signed up for the 30g deal. Twice the data for less, you can't beat that. I think it only runs for 3 days......

    I'm running 2 HTC one's using both as hotspot for 2 laptops and tablet and internet bluray dvd player. The dvd player uses the hotspot to stream amazon prime movies.

    works great.

    Technology, still shaking my head.

    I remember the 15 cent a galllon gas wars, looking for a phone booth and canvas water bags on the bumper.

    After the Vets discount, The 40 gb plan and 2 phones put me at about $155 and change.

    just saw an ATT commercial on TV
    something about an iPhone6 and 30gig of shared data $160 month

    First sprint, now att, Verizon should be up in a week or two.
