Yeah, I remember wrapping a bunch of wire around a bolt and attaching a 120 volt Edison plug to it. Plugged it in and blew the entire house. Of course, our whole house was on a 30 amp service, lol.

I wonder if that produced an EMP strong enough to damage any nearby electronics?
