If you want an option that will outperform the batwing, add a preamp to this puppy (channel master 3016) and I was amazed

I tried that on a home application and the bat wing is much better. In fact I have a bat wing on my S&B. You need to go to a really big antenna to beat the bat wing.

My mistake, it is a cm 2016. Some reviews show it will way out perform its 45 mi rating, and I found that to be true.
Here on the yard, it way out performs my sensor 4 Batwing w/ the wingman and the PS, and especially in the UHF range.

I meant for it to be an option, maybe for long term camping mounted on a mast alongside RV. It folds up to the size of a bat wing. That mount pictured is not included.

Gee it looks just like a Yagi Antenna. My first one was in the early sixties, added a rotor, an amp. could pick up stations from Miami, while I grew up in Key west. And people still get fooled by the neat antennas they put out for $100 of dollars.

That's the point - if I can receive solid signals transmitted from 70 miles away with my "45 mile" Sensar antenna what advantage is there to this more cumbersome (for RV application) "45 mile" Channel Master antenna? Methinks none. ๐Ÿ˜‰

The Batwing is also a 45 Mile antenna by itself.

That doesk however look like a decent antenna for a FIXED install. Not so good for a mobile (Or RV type) install.

I have used Channel master antennas in the past and been very pleased.

Rated only as a 45 mile range antenna :R ... here at the west end of Lake Ontario I can easily receive Buffalo transmitters 70 miles away with my Winegard Sensar IV sitting atop my trailer with a SensarPro powering it. :W
