120V (in your house) to the 1 million voltage transmission lines ALL produce EMFs.
If you are parked under transmission lines or the transmission lines are between you and signal then YES interference will happen.
One CG we were at was close to train tracks........every time diesel locomotives would come by the EMFs from their on-board generators would pixelate the signal until they pasted.
What to check for interference.
Take a walk with an AM Radio tuned to an unused station.
The more the interference the more static
