They are supposed to ground them every 1/4 mile but do not. If they are near your home find out if they are grounded and if not make them do it.

Funny how a transmission tower can be anchored to the ground but not 'grounded'. Same with distributions poles. Sorry Rock, but ALL power poles and towers are grounded (unless a thief with a hatchet has cut the ground wire). Stray voltage/currents and EMF radiation can result from many factors other than grounding.

that is something completely different when taking the helicopter and your body to the same potential as the power lines.

I've seen that an unconnected fluorescent tube will light up when hand-held under the very high voltage wires.

report the interference... may be a future problem for electric company.. Connection Issues.
