How To Transfer An Android Phone To A New One?

I have a nice Android phone, but I dropped it on the floor and now screen shows scrambled lines. I couldn't find any way to fix that so I bought a new Android phone and it is now working on the old p...

it 'might' show up under my pc, and you can navigate DCIM and copy all your picture files to the PC
Or do it the easy way and just let them upload to google Photos all the time so they are always backed up.
