Import Favorites from Windows Vista to Windows 8.1

Hope someone can walk me thru this. I've tried doing a search but can't seem to find anything on this. I want to get my old computer's Vista favorites to my new computer windows 8.1. I found a ...

Without a doubt your way is an excellent method. I may do it myself since I do use several computers and making sure I have my Bookmarks on them all can be a bit of a pain. I was just trying to keep it as straightforward as possible for a poster who may be slightly lacking in computer skills.
