In Store Inventory Wrong again

Went to pick up the Gen-turi exhaust system today from the Hamburg, NY store and once again the in store stock was zero, although online said they had two in stock.

This is the second time this stores inventory has been wrong. The gentlemen working said they just redid the inventory because it was off. Asked if I could order it and he said sure. Just come back tomorrow, Greg is gone already for the day.

Camping World stores must think we all have all the time to just drive back and forth and help them check their inventory. 20-25 minutes each way. Lost time and gas.

On a past visit they had a sign saying they are under new management. This time there were several empty shelves and wider isles than the past visits. Maybe new management means no stock, making there job easier.

    I never rely on online inventory status. I always call ahead, saves the extra trip.
  • Is there no other company / store that sells that exhaust system. I'm sure there is. Find it online, and go there.

  • The issue is I did call. First to confirm what time they closed, because they have changed the hours of the store, even though online showing as being open. Second I asked if they were in stock and was told they had just updated their inventory. And they could see one on the display. Although it looks like they meant the display one.

    They past time they pulled the adapter off the shelf and had it sitting for me to pick up. It was the wrong part in the wrong spot on the shelf. Some people can't tell the difference between a male and female electrical adapter.

    After 1st time.........you should have called and asked.
    If YES then tell them to go place their hand on it.
    IF YES ask for name so you know who lied to you when you get there and no part.
