INTERNET SALE VS IN STORE PRICES

If a store currently has an item that is on sale on the internet, will they sell the in store product for the internet price? If not, why?

  • I think it varies by the company. Typically online deals dont come with the overhead expenses of a store, cashiers, or other brick and mortar related expenses. Also, some companies like to drive traffic to their website to increase awareness through sale promotions.
  • Hello jarviswin,

Thank you for your post. The prices online are typically online only pricing. We honor them when you call in to order over the phone, but the stores don’t typically match this pricing. It’s really up to the store manager if they want to honor the online price or not. The online pricing is meant to be competitive with other online stores. I hope this information helps.

  • Actually shipment cost is added in internet price secondly the advertisement cost of internet also try to add in that. Some times a consumer buys the product who belongs to a long distance and in such a situation company has to bear more cost .. So a standard cost of shipment is added in that, that is why the internet cost is always different than the store cost.
