iPhone mobile wifi hotspot, I am late to the party

Why didn't someone tell me about this 3 years ago? Prior to a month long trip in May my iPhone 4 died after 3 good years. A free class at the Apple store on the SE showed me how the wifi hotspot worke...

Don't get to excited. We use iPhones for hot spot when wifi does not work or work well. Just because you can get a phone call does not mean you can get acceptable data service. But there is no need for an additional device.
